Product Overview

The NSComm NS-QDD‑400G‑SR8 is a high‑density QSFP‑DD optical module engineered for 400 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber. 

It uses eight parallel lanes of PAM4-modulated 50 Gbps signals (8×50G = ~400 Gbps total) on an 850 nm VCSEL array, transmitting over up to 70 m on OM3 or 100 m on OM4 multimode fiber via an MPO‑16 APC connector.

Hot‑swappable and compliant with IEEE 802.3bs (400GBASE‑SR8) and QSFP‑DD MSA, it also supports required host-side FEC and includes Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) support across operating conditions.
